FIRST DAY.- RECEPTION AND TOUR TO THE CITY OF CUSCO

Upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting for you carrying a sign with your name to transfer you to the selected hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel you can taste the famous coca tea. This plant has properties that will help your body against altitude sickness. Then, you can rest and acclimatize a bit at the hotel or if you want to go for a gentle walk through the main streets of the city. At around 1:00 p.m., we will pick you up from the hotel to start the tour to the city of Cusco and its surroundings. This excursion includes a visit to the Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral of Cusco, the Church of Santo Domingo, the Temple of the Qoricancha and the nearby ruins of Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay and the Sacsayhuaman fortress, ending at approximately 7:00 p.m

SECOND DAY: TOUR TO THE SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS

We pick you up between 08:00 a.m. to 08:20 a.m., the tour will begin with a stop at the Corao natural viewpoint, here the guide will give you an introduction to the Sacred Valley. Continuing the tour we will enjoy a beautiful landscape. The first place to visit will be the traditional Indian market of Pisaq, here you will be able to do some shopping for souvenirs or handicrafts, and then go up to the Archaeological Center of Pisaq, where after a short walk you will reach the main Inca sites. Continuing with the trip they will go to the city of Urubamba where in an exclusive restaurant, you will be able to taste the local gastronomy. In the afternoon we will visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, finally we will go to the Ollantaytambo train station, to board the train that leaves at 4:30 p.m., to Aguas Calientes, where we will arrive at an average of 6:10 p.m. We will spend the night at the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).

After getting up very early and having breakfast, we will go up to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, followed by an excursion with our guide through the citadel of Machu Picchu, for 2 hours, during the tour you will visit the most important sites of this city such as They are: the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Rooms, the Temple of the Three Windows and the cemeteries. Concluded the tour of the citadel of Machupicchu.

Optionally: You can do the trekking to the summit of Huaynapicchu or Mountain Sector, this will take a few hours between the round trip (this visit is without a guide). Then we will go down by bus to Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you, to transport you by bus to the city of Cusco and take you to your hotel.

FOURTH DAY: TOUR TO MARAS AND MORAY

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up at 09:00 a.m. in our mobility, to go to the town of Maras and take a colorful tour, passing through very typical towns and beautiful landscapes that we can enjoy on our tour. First, we will visit the town of Maras, from there you will be able to appreciate the Vilcanota mountain range and the snow-capped peaks such as “El Chicón” and “La Verónica”. At present this picturesque town keeps attractions from the pre-Hispanic, colonial and republican period, then we will visit the archaeological complex of Moray located 7 km southwest of Maras; They are a set of huge terraces that overlap concentrically in a gigantic hole, these beautiful terraces that served in the Inca era as an agricultural laboratory “Greenhouse Prototype”. Finally we will visit the Salineras located northwest of the town of Maras, they are made up of about two thousand small wells, with an average area of about 5 m², exploited since the Inca, colonial times and that are still being exploited by the locals. After our visit we will return to the city of Cusco.

FIFTH DAY: FAREWELL AND AIR TRAVEL FROM CUSCO TO LIMA

Having a good breakfast, we will pick you up from the hotel where you are staying and take you to the airport of the city of Cusco, which is a few minutes from the city center. We must be at least one hour before to make the flight confirmation procedures, after checking-in with the airline that we will fly and pay the airport tax, we will say goodbye and take the flight from Cusco to Lima.
